Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our market expansion efforts in Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the security and low-voltage technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the establishment and growth of Aligntech International's business operations in Kenya. Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve sales and revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with system integrators, distributors, consultants, and end customers. Develop and execute market entry, business development, and sales strategies. Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract closure. Conduct market research and provide insights on competitors, industry trends, and customer requirements. Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to deliver effective solutions to customers. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business performance updates.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or channel management within the security, surveillance, low-voltage (ELV), or technology distribution industry. Experience working in African markets; exposure to Morocco and/or Kenya is highly preferred. Strong network within the security, surveillance, ELV, or ICT ecosystem is an advantage. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Proven ability to work independently, build new markets, and drive business growth. Willingness to travel as required.
