We are looking for a Logistics Officer to support our day-to-day logistics and transport operations as we continue to scale our Mobility division across Kenya.

M-KOPA's Mobility division is transforming urban transport by making motorcycles and electric vehicles accessible and affordable for everyday Kenyans. Our logistics function is the backbone that connects our OEM partners, warehouses, dealers, and retail outlets ensuring the right assets are in the right place at the right time. You'll work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where accuracy, reliability, and a compliance-conscious mindset make a real difference.

What You'll Do

Coordinating inbound and outbound movement of vehicles and mobility assets between OEMs, warehouses, dealers, and retail outlets — including number plate transfers and reconciliations Executing delivery schedules, interbranch transfers, and asset returns, with a focus on timely and cost-efficient distribution Providing oversight and coordination of corporate taxi services, including Little Cab, airport transfers, car hire arrangements, and associated vendor payments Tracking and reconciling daily stock movements and supporting monthly stock takes and reconciliation processes Monitoring corporate cab and staff transport usage, and supporting fleet maintenance coordination, swap reconciliations, and vehicle availability tracking Reporting accidents, incidents, or breakdowns promptly and following up as guided to maintain fleet uptime Liaising with Sales, Customer Experience, Retail Operations, Finance, and technical teams to ensure timely fulfilment and communicating any delays, damages, or incidents to relevant stakeholders Preparing and submitting logistics documentation including delivery notes, waybills, fuel records, repair documents, and expense support Ensuring all logistics activities comply with approved transport, fleet, and safety policies — including verifying that drivers, riders, and vehicles hold valid licences, insurance, and statutory documents before deployment Supporting incident reporting, audits, and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

This is an on-site role based in Nairobi, Kenya. You will be reporting to the Inventory Manager.

Expertise

A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience 2–3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or transport operations Basic Excel and reporting skills, with strong attention to accuracy in documentation Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends when necessary Nice to have: prior exposure to working with transport vendors or drivers; experience supporting inventory movements and logistics documentation
