A leading development finance institution is looking for a 3+PQE Project/infrastructure finance lawyer to join their dynamic legal team. As a senior lawyer in the team, you will be responsible for leading on high value projects including taking on official line management responsibility.

This organisation has recently launched a new strategy which means there will be rapid growth in the business and also exposure to other locations within the group on a range of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be working on cross border initiatives supporting the business on a variety of matters. Some of the work you will be involved in will include:

Working with the deal teams on the structuring of leading projects across Africa, Middle East, Asia, working closely with senior stakeholders as a result. Managing and assessing legal and transactional risks for complex deals. Draft, negotiate, and reviewing complex legal contracts including shareholder agreements, loan documentation etc. Horizon scanning and monitoring of existing and upcoming regulations Liaising with external support when required

Qualifications: 3+ years* of experience as a project/ development/ infrastructure/general banking and finance lawyer in a leading law firm or equivalent in-house. Strong drafting and negotiation skills. A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical, business friendly solutions.
