THE ROLE We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Pharmacist & Fulfilment Specialist to join our Nairobi fulfilment and retail store. This is a unique dual-function role that blends pharmaceutical expertise with a passion for beauty and personal care. You will be at the heart of the Orewa customer experience — fulfilling online orders, serving walk-in customers, managing our product inventory, and acting as the face of the Orewa brand. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Order Fulfilment • Accurately pick, pack, and process online customer orders for timely dispatch • Ensure all health and pharmacy products are handled, labelled, and dispatched in compliance with PPB regulations • Coordinate with delivery partners and communicate order updates where needed

In-Store Customer Service • Welcome and assist walk-in customers with a warm, knowledgeable, and professional approach • Advise customers on beauty, skincare, personal care, and health/pharmacy products • Handle customer queries, returns, and feedback gracefully and in line with Orewa standards

Pharmacy & Health Advisory • Provide accurate, responsible guidance on over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, supplements, and health products Ensure safe handling, storage, and dispensing of all pharmacy and health products • Flag prescription-only medicine requests appropriately and ensure compliance with Kenya’s Pharmacy and Poisons Board guidelines

Inventory & Stock Management • Monitor stock levels across beauty, personal care, and health/pharma categories and flag reorder needs promptly • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock accurately • Maintain a well-organised, clean, and visually appealing store at all times • Conduct regular stock counts and assist with periodic inventory audits

Brand Representation • Act as the face of Orewa — embodying the brand values of quality, care, and expertise in every customer interaction • Support social media content creation (product showcases, short demos) when required • Provide feedback from customer interactions to help improve product selection and service

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Education & Professional Credentials • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related field (required) • Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya is mandatory • Additional training or certification in beauty, cosmetology, or skincare is a plus

Experience • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a pharmacy, chemist, or a shop that sells a combination of beauty, personal care, and health/pharmacy products • Proven experience advising customers on both beauty/personal care products and OTC health items • Prior e-commerce or order fulfilment experience is an advantage

Skills & Competencies • Strong product knowledge across skincare, haircare, personal care, and OTC health/pharmacy categories • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills — warm, confident, and professional • High attention to detail, particularly for order accuracy and stock management • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment • Basic computer literacy — comfortable using order management tools, spreadsheets, and messaging platforms • Honest, reliable, and trustworthy — critical for handling health products and financial transactions
