Position Level: Senior Management Position Code: HRC Department: Human Resources and Administration Duty Station: Kenya Reports To: Group CEO Job Summary The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily HR operations and ensuring smooth implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role coordinates recruitment activities, employee onboarding, records management, payroll support, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR Coordinator serves as a key liaison between employees and management, ensuring efficient HR service delivery and a positive employee experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment Efficiency Time-to-fill vacanciesInterview-to-hire ratioQuality of hire (probation success rate) 2. Onboarding & Documentation 100% completion of onboarding documentationNew hire onboarding satisfaction score 3. Employee Records Management Accuracy and completeness of employee filesZero compliance breaches related to documentation 4. Payroll & Benefits Administration Payroll processing accuracy rateTimely benefits enrollment and updates 5. Compliance & Policy Implementation Adherence to labor laws and internal policiesTimely reporting and statutory submissions 6. Employee Engagement & Support Employee query resolution timeParticipation rate in engagement initiatives 7. HR Reporting & Data Management Timely submission of HR reportsData accuracy in HR systems.Employee Motivation & SupportSupport and empower employees in achieving their individual KPIs through active collaboration with Heads of Department (HODs).Foster a motivating work environment that drives performance, accountability, and goal attainment. 8. Conducting Appraisals Lead and facilitate structured employee performance appraisals in alignment with organizational objectives.Ensure fair, consistent, and timely evaluation of staff performance, providing constructive feedback and development plans. Key Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.Postgraduate Diploma or Master’s in HRM, Organizational Development, or Business Administration is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR and administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements in Kenya.Experience in implementing HR systems, payroll administration, and talent management.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to travel across the three countries as needed.Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment.Experience in developing HR systems, policies and procedures is an advantage. Experience in having used a HRM System. Has the ability to liaise with senior management staff, relevant staff in different functional areasMust possess strong Management skills - planning, time management, coordination; People Management – coaching, mentoring, capability development, networking, building teams; and Financial Management – budgets, & costing, skills.Good command of English language, both oral and written communication skills Supervisory Responsibility: Country Human Resources  Critical Relationships: (key internal staff to work with to deliver role): Group CEO, Country Managers, Group Leads, Country Human Resources and Country Heads of Department.
