St. JosephâÂÂs Technical Institute, NyangâÂÂoma was started in 1965 by Franciscan Sisters of St. Anna. It was officially blessed on 14th November 1972 and taken over by the Ministry of Education as a Public Institution. The Institution was started to cater for children who are deaf finishing primary education at a primary school also managed by Franciscan Sisters of St. Anna Congregation within NyangâÂÂoma complex.
