At TakaTaka Solutions, We collect your waste like every other waste collector, but, instead of taking it to a landfill, we take it to our own sites, where we sort the waste, and then recycle 95% either ourselves or through our local partners. This represents one of the highest recycling rates in the world. Job Description: Fleet management/collections:  Check live location ControlTech. Conduct hour-by-hour spot checks to ensure collections are proceeding as per the schedule to ensure collections are done on time in full and error-free. Monitor daily (collection) trips to ensure that they start on time as scheduled  Follow up hour by hour on the collection of new and sensitive clients to ensure it has been done Monitor the drivers' WhatsApp group to pick all the issues raised and liaise with the concerned teams to ensure they are swiftly resolved Create Geofences for all clients and generate daily Geofence reports to show the clients visited and those not visited. Monitoring trips and raising weekly payment requests. Updating km covered on tracking and vehicle workshop documents. Compiling lists of missed collections and planning for day trips. Notify customer care for any client-related issues (delays/ missed with recovery plan). Maintain vehicle compliance trackers, i.e. NTSA inspection, speed governor certificates, and insurance, and proactively raise requests when one month to due date Maintenance: Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to get timelines for fixing trucks that may have delayed collections Raise all the float requests needed and liaise with the designated float holder for swift payment Fill workshop log with issues based on truck checks and ad hoc issues Liaise with workshop—Communicate issues to workshop and follow-up on repairs Routes realization: Have a list of all staff working, their route, and their time: Check attendance of staff Visit routes to collect data for route optimization, theft sensitivities and other efficiency opportunities Direct drivers to all new client locations to ensure first 3 collections are done successfully Hand out route printouts and truck checklists Conduct thorough investigation of any property damage caused by collection trucks and ensure it’s resolved within 7 days. Logging: Update all thlog e collection issues raised by the drivers on the established Google sheets Fill Trip for all trips with actual times and fullness of trucks Requirements: Degree/diploma in any business-related field, Logistics and Supply and Chain management. At least one year of proven experience in Logistics  department- Administrative in a similar industrial setting. Knowledge of logistics software and tools.
