The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with Kenyan tax regulations, and supporting overall financial operations. This role requires a tech-savvy and adaptable professional who is comfortable working with ERP systems and automation tools. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactionsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsManage accounts payable and receivable processesEnsure compliance with Kenyan tax laws, including VAT, PAYE, and statutory filingsReconcile bank statements and monitor cash flowSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial planningUtilize ERP systems (e.g., Odoo) to manage accounting functions efficientlyIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation and system optimizationLiaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies when required Qualifications & Experience CPA (K) – Fully qualified or at least CPA Part IIIMinimum of 5 years’ relevant work experienceExperience in retail, distribution, or a similar fast-paced environment is an added advantageProven experience using Odoo ERP or similar accounting systemsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reportingSound knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and compliance proceduresHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsTech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and automation toolsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines What We’re Looking For A reliable and professional individual with strong work ethicsSomeone adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environmentA proactive candidate with a continuous improvement mindsetStrong integrity and ability to handle confidential information Additional Information Preferred age: 28 years and aboveImmediate availability is highly preferred
