Role Description This full-time Senior Blockchain Engineer (Protocol Layer) role is remote and involves designing, developing, and optimizing the core protocol layer of Weritas' blockchain infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementing blockchain-focused solutions, enhancing protocol architecture for tokenization and data processing, and ensuring secure cryptographic implementations. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve performance, scalability, and security goals for the platform.
Qualifications Expertise in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency technologies, including knowledge of decentralized systems and consensus algorithms. Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development practices, with experience in building scalable and secure systems. Strong understanding of Cryptography and its applications in blockchain and financial protocols. Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining distributed ledger systems or similar infrastructure. Familiarity with smart contracts, tokenization principles, and related frameworks. Proven ability to work in remote and collaborative team environments. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. Experience within the financial technology (FinTech) sector is a strong advantage.
