Mission To transform the livelihood of the people of Kisumu county on a foundation of integrity through accountable, efficient and effective leadership that invokes participation and pursuit of quality services, for a prosperous county that is a harbor of excellence Requirements for appointments For appointments to this grade a candidate must have:- Kenyan Citizenship Cumulative period of three (3) years’ relevant work experience as Driver III; Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D (plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; A valid driving license free from any current endorsement(s) for class(es) of vehicle(s) an officer is required to drive; Attended a First~Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week at St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building ‘Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution; Certificate in Suitability ‘lest for Drivers conducted by the Ministry responsible for transport, Certificate in Occupational Trade Test III for Drivers conducted by the Ministry responsible for transport; Defensive Driving certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution; Valid recommendation report of Refresher Course for drivers lasting not less than one (1) week after every three (3) years at the Kenya Institute of Highways and building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized Institution; A valid Clearance Certificate from the National Police Service, Proficiency in computer applications; Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
