Mid-Level AutoCAD / SketchUp Interior Designer (Freelance)

We are looking for a Mid-Level Interior Designer to work closely with our Lead Interior Designer on a freelance basis. This is not a full-time role. The ideal candidate should be responsive and comfortable handling fast-turnaround and last-minute tasks when needed.

Requirements 4–5 years of interior design experience Based in Nairobi, Kenya Excellent skills in AutoCAD and SketchUp If you mainly use ArchiCAD, please do not apply Strong communication skills and good spoken English Ability to handle the full design process: Concept → Plans & Sections → Detailed Drawings → 3D Modeling → Renders Able to work on-site in Lavington and coordinate with the team when required Good sense of design, materials, and detailing Responsible, organised, and able to work independently when needed

Responsibilities Develop concept designs and mood boards Prepare accurate technical drawings (plans, sections, elevations, joinery details) Build 3D models and produce renders Assist with material selections and presentations Work closely with the Lead Interior Designer during site visits and project coordination Support overall design workflow and project development
