A month later, the In Patient Department was opened with a capacity of 21 beds.Key Responsibilities Oversee daily theater activities, ensuring smooth scheduling, efficient patient flow and proper use of surgical equipment Enforce stringent infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, ensuring all surgical procedures adhere to regulations Ensure compliance with all quality control protocols Act as a role model, providing guidance, training and mentorship to nursing staff and students Monitor, order and manage inventory of all surgical supplies, ensuring availability for procedures Liase between surgeons, anaesthetists and other support staff to create a productive team environment Qualifications and Requirements Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience in a leadership role in a level 4 and above hospital Higher diploma in perioperative nursing Valid practicing license High integrity and attention to detail Ability to work independently and in a team environment Desired Attributes Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent communication and reporting ability
