Retail Manager JOB PURPOSE: The Retail Manager will be a commercially driven leader responsible for maximizing sales, expanding the retail network and ensuring operational excellence across the company’s fuel stations and convenience outlets. The role demands strong business development skills, strategic thinking and the ability to deliver revenue growth while maintaining compliance and customer satisfaction. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve fuel and non-fuel revenue targets. Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams to strengthen competitiveness. Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences to inform pricing and product strategies. the retail footprint by identifying, evaluating and securing new sites for fuel stations. Build and maintain strong dealer and franchise relationships to support network growth. Supervise daily operations of retail outlets, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards. Monitor sales performance, service quality and compliance with HSSE policies. Prepare and manage budgets for retail operations and expansion projects. Track revenue, margins and profitability across outlets. Recruit, train and manage station managers and other station staff. Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Effectively manage the retail assets, equipment maintenance, brand visibility and standards. Performs other related duties as assigned. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & CAREER EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field or any relevant discipline. 7 to 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in retail business in Oil and gas sectors. Knowledge of HSSE standards and regulatory requirements in the petroleum industry.
