Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Nairobi for an IT, Coding & Robotics Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for delivering hands-on training in coding, robotics, and STEM-related subjects. Day-to-day tasks will include developing lesson plans, conducting engaging workshops, mentoring students on programming and robotics projects, and continuously improving instructional methodologies. The role also involves providing feedback to participants, fostering innovation, and supporting project-based learning initiatives.
Qualifications Knowledge in electronics, robotics and Programming, including hands-on experience with coding languages and robotic platforms (Scratch, Arduino, HTML,CSS, JavaScript). Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and mentor students. Understanding of STEM-based education and ability to design and deliver relevant, creative learning experiences. Experience in Training or teaching, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse learners. Ability to inspire innovation and critical thinking in students. Familiarity with EdTech tools or prior experience in the education sector is a plus. Passion for technology and a commitment to bridging the digital divide.
