The Administrative Intern is responsible for supporting the administrative staff of the Cluster in the Nairobi office. The responsibilities will include filing, internal meetings organization, administrative support in the finance office, amongst other duties.
Tasks**
Support with filing contracts and Cluster documents as per GIZ filing rules.
Support in handling programme inventory
Support in flight procurements and bookings
Support in documentation to follow up for receivables and payables
Support in ensuring the accounting vouchers are complete, accurate and are confirmed for material correctness before payment and forwarding for booking.
Support in the audit/IC (Internal Control) preparation
Support in the procurement of goods and services process.
Support in market research for procurement contracts
Assist with logistical organization and coordination of project’s events and workshops.
Any other tasks assigned

Qualifications ****
Minimum bachelor’s degree in administration or equivalent in a relevant field (Procurement, public administration, project management, business administration, finance etc.).
Professional experience****
Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili
Good analytical, communications and interpersonal as well as intercultural skills
