The Sales Executive role at Optica is a specialized retail position focused on helping  customers choose eyewear solutions that best meet their prescription, lifestyle and  personal style needs. ** While the title reflects a sales function, internally the role is known as an Eyewear  Consultant (EWC) because it involves a consultative approach to assisting customers in  selecting frames, lenses, and eyewear products. This role requires a strong  understanding of eyewear products and customer needs, supported by structured  training provided by the company. 

The position plays a critical role in delivering an excellent customer experience while  contributing to the store’s sales performance. 

Training & Development ** **

All candidates will undergo a structured training program designed to equip them with  the knowledge and practical skills required for the role. 

Continuous evaluations during the training period help assess progress and ensure each  candidate develops the competence required to perform confidently as an Eyewear  Consultant (EWC).

**Customer Experience  ****

∙ Welcome and assist customers in a warm, professional, and courteous manner. ∙ Understand customers’ needs, preferences, and lifestyle to recommend suitable  eyewear solutions. 

∙ Provide clear information on products, pricing, and services offered. ∙ Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally. 

Eyewear Consultation**  **

∙ Guide customers in selecting frames & lenses that best suit their prescription  needs and other personal preferences  

∙ Recommend appropriate lens types and features based on the customer’s  lifestyle, occupation, and usage requirements. 

∙ Dispense completed eyewear orders and explain proper care and maintenance of  glasses 

Sales & branch Performance ** **

∙ Achieve established sales and customer service targets. 

∙ Assist in maintaining attractive product displays and a well-organized retail  environment. 

∙ Support branch promotions and initiatives to enhance performance.

Operations & branch Support  ****

∙ Follow procedures for sales processing, order creation, and payment handling.

∙ Perform minor adjustments and simple repairs to frames when required.

∙ Assist with inventory handling and product organization. 

∙ Maintain cleanliness and proper presentation of the branch and display areas.

∙ Support colleagues and coordinate with the head office when necessary. 

Team Contribution  **

∙ Maintain positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.

∙ Contribute to a collaborative team environment. 

∙ Perform any additional duties assigned by management when required.
