About the Role**

We are looking for a Workforce Planning & Operations Specialist to support the successful delivery of Fuzu’s data collection and AI data processing projects.

This role sits at the intersection of operations, talent, and workforce strategy, ensuring that the right number of contributors and project teams are available at the right time. You will translate project requirements into staffing plans, capacity forecasts, and ramp schedules, while maintaining healthy, ready-to-deploy talent pools.

You will work closely with the Head of Operations, Talent Team, and Project Leads to drive operational readiness, optimize workforce utilization, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on time.

Project Workforce Planning**

Support the development of workforce plans for incoming projects.

Estimate resource requirements based on dataset size, timelines, and productivity benchmarks.

Assist in building ramp schedules to ensure projects scale smoothly.

Workforce Capacity Tracking********

Maintain visibility of available and active resources across talent pools.

Track resource activity levels and participation rates.

Highlight potential workforce shortages ahead of project start dates.****

Resource Activation Support****

Work with the Talent Partner to activate resources for new projects or when project demand increases.

Maintain talent pools with the goal of ensuring quick availability of resources to meet project deadlines.

Support coordination of resource onboarding and readiness before project launch.

Operational Support****

Assist in defining project workforce structures (contributors, project managers, QA reviewers).

Review resource performance and viability for future utilization. Maintain healthy talent pools by offboarding underperforming

Handle performance and disciplinary matters across full time teams.

Data and Workforce Tracking****

Maintain simple dashboards or trackers for workforce capacity, contributor participation, and project staffing needs.

Support operational reporting for the Head of Operations and Project Leads.

Requirements & Qualifications****

Minimum 3 years of experience in workforce planning, operations, or talent management within BPO, Human-in-the-Loop, or data annotation environments.

Strong proficiency in HR systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Proven experience managing large, dynamic talent pools under tight timelines (short SLAs).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.

Solid understanding of performance management and disciplinary processes, with knowledge of Kenyan labor laws.

Excellent stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.
