About the Role **
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Travel and Expenses (T&E) Accounting Associate** to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing all expense reports submitted by employees, ensuring strict compliance with company policies. You will also serve as a key point of contact, guiding employees through the T&E process and facilitating seamless reimbursement workflows. **

Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (GMT-5). **
Modality:** On-site. **
Location:** Nairobi, Kenya
Key Responsibilities **
Expense Processing:** Process employee expense reimbursements, verifying that all submitted documentation is accurate and aligns with corporate policies. **
Employee Support:** Provide timely support and guidance to employees regarding travel processes, reimbursement inquiries, and expense policies. **
Accounting Records:** Prepare and submit journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation into the Intacct accounting system. **
System Oversight:** Verify that employee approval workflows are correctly configured in the system to ensure processing efficiency and prevent delays. **
Process Improvement:** Provide feedback and suggestions to improve current systems, seeking best practices and operational efficiencies. **
Requirements & Skills** **
Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). **
Experience:** At least six (6) months of related experience in accounting or administrative support. **
Language:** Advanced English proficiency (C1 Level) **
Technical Skills:** High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Experience with Intacct or similar accounting software is a plus. **

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills (active listening and clear professional writing).
