Qualifications and experience****

An earned PhD degree or equivalent in Health Information Management or a related field from an accredited and recognized university

Master’s Degree in Health Information Management or a related field from an accredited and recognized university

At least three (3) years of teaching/research experience at the university level as a Lecturer

Accumulated at least six equivalent publication points as a Lecturer

Supervised at least four (4) postgraduate students as a Lecturer.

Evidence of applying for a grant either individually or as a group since being appointed as Lecturer.

Evidence of good quality teaching.

Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops

Been registered by the Health Records and Information Managers Board
