Overall purpose of the role: Increase in sales revenue Increase customer portfolio
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer
** Duties and Responsibilities Sales **
- Prospect for new cylinder, dry ice and bulk CO2 customers to increase sales revenue
- Responsible for increasing company revenue through sale of CO2 Cylinders , dry ice and bulk sales
- Submit weekly dry ice and CO2 cylinders sale report on a timely and accurate basis
- Submit monthly actual, budgeted and targeted sales report indicating the customers’ consumption trend and projection
- Manage and communicate customer requirements
- Generate and submit accurate sales documentation i.e quotations ,delivery notes invoices , cash receipts and statements
- Collect market intelligence by studying the market and being aware of competitor prices and activities in the market and advising management
- Follow up on dry ice and cylinder sales leads
- Negotiate and close sales by agreeing cylinders terms and conditions
- Follow up on the cylinder issued and refilled
- Business Development - Generate new areas for CO2 application Marketing
- Evaluate the use of CO2 by some clients and make recommendations to other clients
- Ensure that cylinders are branded and serialized for traceability and cylinder tracking Customer Service
- Provide technical support on retail products
- Meet and develop relationships with potential and existing customers
- Offering after-sales support services and organize delivery to specific customers Payments /Debts
- Monitor credit control for Depot customers
- Follow up on debts owed from cylinder business clients
- Collect CO2 cylinders that are not bringing rental fees
- Any other duties assigned by management
**ACCOUNTABILITIES **
- Deliver Sales Targets
- Submit progress reports on all customer visits
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience in Sales Engineering , Sales of Industrial Gases or FMCG sales
- A degree or diploma in Engineering or Sales and Marketing
- Professional diploma in sales and marketing Competencies
- In-depth working knowledge and experience in sales
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Technical background with good selling skills in B2C and B2B markets Good product knowledge to be able to sell the benefits of Carbon dioxide in a confident and professional manner
