That's why we put our patients at the heart of everything we do by standing united in our vision of maintaining our status as an affordable, accessible, optimal quality healthcare provider that surpasses international standards.JOB PURPOSE The purpose of this role is to establish, implement, and enforce a robust Data Protection Compliance framework and systems, ensuring the Hospital complies with Data Protection Law and regulations The job holder will be a member of the Data Protection Technical Committee (DPTC) responsible for implementing Information Risk and Data Protection programs within the Hospital Academic and Professional Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Law from a reputable institution recognized in Kenya A postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies from the Kenya School of Law An advocate of the High Court of Kenya with current practice certificate A member in good standing with the Law Society of Kenya Formal training or certification in data protection or privacy law, with sound knowledge of the Kenya Data Protection Act and applicable data protection frameworks and general familiarity the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Minimum of three (3) continuous years of relevant experience in privacy and data protection Experience within the healthcare sector or regulated indus try shall be an added advantage
