Recruiting is a specialized area of staffing focused on attracting and placing prospective employees including: Promoting the organization’s image as a desirable place to work; Attracting, recruiting, screening, and interviewing candidates; Recommending placement of internal and external candidates for entry-level and experienced positions.
Functional Responsibilities**
• Strategic planning of Talent Acquisition at an organisation level
• Working on sourcing strategies and cost-effective sourcing channels for the organisation across one or more locations, as and when they come up.
• Ensure that quality talent is sourced ethically within given timelines and at the same time remain compliant to all hiring norms, assessments and processes, without any deviations.
• Ensures proper record keeping of all applications, their multiple stages of interview and assessments, system integration, pre-document screening and all other allied work
• Ensure the TA function is focusing on adequate employer branding measures/initiatives both online and offline to make Teleperformance Kenya a renowned employer to be associated with, for better attraction of talent.
• Participation in job fairs, campus hiring, language institute hiring, referral schemes, direct sourcing through social groups, impact sourcing. Ensuring strong partnerships are maintained.
• Handling negotiations, pre-offers, offers, joining and handover to training team to complete the recruitment cycle. Supporting the HR Shared Services with Onboarding of new hires.
• Managing recruitment from entry level, mid-level to leadership hiring within budgets specified.
• Develop a globally consistent, locally relevant sourcing process that ensures a steady stream of exceptional talent that keeps pace with Teleperformance impressive growth.
• Referring applicants for particular job openings, administering pre-employment tests, checking references, conducting exit interviews for candidates declining offers, and providing feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
• May assist with job advertising and posting
Requirements
Educational Qualifications and Professional Qualifications****
• A degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a relevant field
• A member of IHRM
• Must possess Professional Certification in HR
Total Experience & Relevant Experience****
• 1-2 years of experience working in a Talent Acquisition role
Minimum Functional Skills / Competencies Required****
• Knowledge of local labor laws.
• Knowledge of various interviewing methods.
