The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and running the hospital pharmacy efficiently while ensuring proper dispensing, medication management, compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and delivery of quality patient care. The candidate should possess strong professional ethics, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a hospital environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily pharmacy operations efficiently and professionally  Dispense prescribed medication accurately and responsibly  Ensure proper storage, handling, and management of pharmaceutical products  Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory systems  Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement of medicines and supplies  Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and hospital policies  Provide medication guidance and counseling to patients where necessary  Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care  Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper disposal of expired medication  Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the pharmacy  Prepare pharmacy reports and maintain proper documentation  Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related field  Must possess a valid practicing license  Registered and licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in Kenya  Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is an added advantage  Strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and medication management  Good communication and interpersonal skills  High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail  Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision  Key Competencies Pharmaceutical operations management  Medication dispensing & patient care  Inventory & stock management  Compliance & regulatory awareness  Attention to detail  Communication & teamwork  Problem-solving & decision-making  Note:  Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
