**Qualifications and skills **

Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Music Audio or a related field

Must possess strong skills and competencies in audio recording, music editing, sound mixing, and operation of studio and editing equipment

Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in editing, recording, or music production within a music or audio-visual laboratory

Must be a registered member of a recognized professional body such as the Music Copyright Society of Kenya or any other relevant professional association in Kenya.

Must possess relevant professional qualifications in music production, sound engineering, audio technology, or related field from a recognized institution

Set up, operate, and maintain editing lab equipment including computers, cameras, audio systems, and related hardware

Provide hands-on technical support to students during practical sessions in media, music, and film editing

Train and guide students on the use of editing software, audio-visual equipment, and production tools

Support students in basic production processes including video editing, sound editing, and post-production workflows

Assist lecturers/instructors in preparing practical lessons and demonstrations.
