To succeed in this role, you must combine strong multi-country HR expertise, a good understanding of the humanitarian context in West Africa, and ability to coordinate with multiple remote stakeholders. ** Required qualifications****

  • At least 5 years' experience in HR, preferably in a multi-country role;

  • Proven experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver results;

  • Experience training HR employees and managers;

  • Fluency in both French and English — mandatory for both languages; **

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or Social Sciences.

  • Provide technical advice and support to HR teams and country management;

  • Review and ensure compliance of national employees handbooks, salary scales and CO policies with DRC global policies and local labour law;

  • Monitor and support the rollout of global HR policies and initiatives in assigned countries;

  • Conduct HR compliance audits and develop corrective action plans with the HR Partner;

  • Build capacity of HR teams and managers on HR policies, processes and systems, including DRC Voices (engagement survey);

  • Lead or participate recruitment processes for senior positions in portfolio countries;

  • Support onboarding of senior employees in country operations;

  • Contribute to global HR team projects and initiatives (up to 20% of working time)
