The Marketing & Growth Lead will own the entire marketing function for a fast-growing UK-based indoor golf simulator business. This is a highly execution-focused role responsible for driving bookings, increasing facility utilization (especially off-peak and weekdays), and improving customer retention.
The role requires a strong hands-on marketer who can independently run paid acquisition, create and test campaigns, produce AI-assisted content, manage CRM and retention flows, and continuously optimize performance based on data. This is not a strategic, advisory, or agency management role. It is a full execution ownership role with direct impact on revenue and bookings.
Paid Acquisition & Demand Generation**
Set up, manage, and optimize Meta, Google, and TikTok ad campaigns
Create and test weekly ad creatives, audiences, and offers
Build and optimize simple landing pages and booking funnels
Track full funnel performance from click to booking to revenue
Optimize for CAC, ROAS, and utilization (peak vs off-peak demand)
AI-Led Content & Creative Production****
Use AI tools daily to generate ad creatives, copy, and campaign variations
Produce social media content, email campaigns, and landing page copy
Maintain consistent brand tone and commercial messaging
Rapidly iterate creatives based on performance data
CRM, Email & WhatsApp Retention****
Build and manage email, SMS, and WhatsApp marketing flows
Execute lifecycle campaigns including:
First-time visitor follow-ups
Repeat visit nudges
Win-back campaigns
Membership and corporate promotions
Focus on increasing repeat bookings and customer lifetime value
Social Media & Partnerships****
Manage all social media channels directly
Drive and repurpose user-generated content
Identify and activate partnerships with:
Local influencers
Corporate clients
Golf clubs, leagues, and communities
Ensure all activity drives bookings and enquiries
Analytics, Testing & Reporting****
Monitor daily and weekly performance metrics
Run structured experiments across creatives, offers, and audiences
Report insights clearly: what worked, what didn’t, and next actions
- Focus on core business KPIs: bookings, revenue, utilization, retention, CAC, ROAS
Qualifications****
3-7+ years of hands-on digital or growth marketing experience
Proven experience running paid advertising campaigns end-to-end
Demonstrated ownership of measurable business outcomes (not just execution tasks)
Strong practical experience using AI tools for marketing production
Experience in B2C industries such as sports, fitness, hospitality, leisure, or entertainment
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and optimize campaigns
Excellent execution discipline and ability to work independently
Additional (Preferred) Skills**
Experience with high-frequency performance marketing environments
Familiarity with CRM tools (email, SMS, WhatsApp automation platforms)
Experience in subscription, membership, or booking-based businesses
Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Experience working across UK or international markets
