Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) is a State Corporation established through the Science and Technology (Amendment) Act of 1979, which has since been amended to Science, Technology and Innovation Act 2013. The 1979 Act established KEMRI as a National body responsible for carrying out health research in Kenya.Key Responsibilities: Assist in the review of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in ultrasound techniques Implement the assigned field task in ultrasonography during fieldwork Support field work, anthropometric measurements, and triaging of participants Maintain infection prevention and control standards. Perform regular sonography and ultrasound apparatus/equipment maintenance and servicing. Assist in data management, including accurate management and archiving of digital bioimages from scans. Conduct other physiological examinations on participants, including Spirometry, Grip strength, Leg force assessment, among others. Assist in project outreach and research findings dissemination.
