Duties and Responsibilities Design Delivery & Production Design high-quality visual assets across a broad range of formats, including digital, print, internal communications, social content, presentations, and brand collateral Adapt and resize creative assets across channels and formats, maintaining brand consistency and visual accuracy throughout Support the production and rollout of campaigns, brand materials, and content — from initial file setup through to final delivery Source and select imagery, iconography, and visual references that align with the creative direction and brand tone Creative Thinking & Brief Response Translate briefs into considered, on-brand design solutions—initially with guidance from senior team members, and with increasing independence over time Apply strong fundamentals in typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy to all work, regardless of format or complexity Contribute ideas and visual thinking to creative sessions and campaign development, showing curiosity and emerging conceptual instincts Develop a growing understanding of how design serves communication goals—not just aesthetics—within a business context Craft, Quality & Brand Consistency Uphold brand guidelines consistently across all outputs, understanding how and why a coherent visual identity matters at scale Approach every piece of work with attention to detail, taking pride in the quality of execution at every stage of the process Incorporate feedback clearly and efficiently, iterating quickly without losing sight of the original brief or creative intent Collaboration & Creative Relationships Work constructively alongside copywriters, marketers, and other creative team members, contributing positively to a collaborative working environment Engage with briefs professionally, asking relevant questions and seeking clarity where needed before beginning design work Support presentation design and content preparation, helping to communicate creative work clearly to internal audiences Assist in creative productions, image sourcing, and supplier coordination where required, under the direction of a senior creative Skills and Experience Approximately 1-3 years of professional design experience, whether in-house, digital agency, freelance, or via an internship-to-full-time progression A portfolio that demonstrates strong design fundamentals — typography, layout, hierarchy, colour — alongside emerging conceptual and brand thinking A genuine understanding that design exists to solve communication and business problems, not only to look good Receptiveness to feedback and a genuine desire to learn, develop, and be mentored by senior creatives High attention to detail and pride in the quality and consistency of your work A collaborative, proactive, and adaptable working style, suited to a structured professional environment Adobe Creative Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (solid working knowledge required) Figma — for digital asset creation and collaborative design workflows Presentation design — Microsoft PowerPoint to a proficient standard Typography, layout, grid systems, and digital asset creation across web and print formats Working knowledge of brand guidelines and how to apply them accurately and consistently Experience with AI-assisted design tools and an interest in how they are evolving creative workflows Social content creation across platforms, with an understanding of format specifications and visual communication for digital audiences Internship, placement, or early employment experience in an in-house or digital agency creative team Exposure to corporate, consulting, financial services, or enterprise brand environments, even in an assistant or support capacity Experience supporting campaign development or content rollout, with an understanding of how creative work moves from brief to delivery Some familiarity with stakeholder review and approval processes — even from observation or junior involvement An interest in the strategic side of design: brand positioning, audience thinking, and how visual identity connects to business purpose.
