Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration (HR option), Social Sciences, or a related field.

Professional certification and registration with IHRM

Minimum of 5 years’ progressive HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role, preferably within healthcare or a regulated environment

Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR policies, compliance frameworks, and employment regulations, with demonstrated ability to apply them in a healthcare setting

Proven experience in core HR functional areas including recruitment and workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance management

Ability to handle employee relations issues, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and support both clinical and non-clinical teams

Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS), data analysis, and Microsoft Office tools to support reporting and decision-making

Understanding of healthcare-specific HR dynamics including clinical staffing, regulatory requirements, workplace health and safety, and workforce retention challenges

High level of integrity, discretion, and ability to manage sensitive employee and organizational information

Ability to align HR strategy with business objectives, support organizational growth, and drive employee engagement and culture initiatives in a clinic or hospital environment
