Harley’s Limited is a company registered in 1953 that deals in the sales, marketing and distribution of healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, surgical-equipment, medical equipment, ophthalmic equipment, theatre equipment and OTC products. The volume of business generated since the current management took over from 1975 has continued to grow steadily. At the time of acquisition by the current management the company purely traded in Pharmaceuticals in Kisumu (western Kenya) as a Wholesale Dispensing Chemist which is still functional.Harley's Limited is looking to fill the position of Cyber Security AnalysVEngineer, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, design and implementation of cyber security solutions to protect the company's hardware, software and networks. The incumbent will also work with other teams in the organization as a technical resource on all technical matters, including educating and responding to clients on issues ranging from features and functionality to integration specifications and installation.   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, configure, implement and maintain all security platforms and related software, including anti-virus systems, routers, email gateways, switches, firewalls, cryptography systems, SI EMs and MOM solutions. Perform server and security audits, system backup procedures and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Monitor and test system performance by preparing and presenting system performance statistics and reports. Participate in the acquisition of software and equipment. Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate the ability to communicate professionally via email, text and phone calls while delivering effective and efficient end-user support. Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems software, in alignment with the IT strategy. Coordinate and oversee log analysis for company-managed services to ensure compliance with company policies and security requirements. Ensure network security best practices are implemented and maintained through regular audits of routers, change control processes, switch configurations, firewall settings and monitoring systems.  QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. CNN E certification will be an advantage. Proven experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of software systems, applications and related products. Proven experience with systems planning, security principles and general software management best practices.
