In late 1990s Hotpoint was awarded the Sole Distributorship Agency for LG Electronics. Later on, it went on to acquire agencies for other global brands including Ariston, Westpoint and Kenwood. The company quickly expanded its operations throughout Kenya, and by 2002 is was on the the region's largest retailers and wholesalers of consumer electronics and entertainment products. Teamwork, Empowerment and Growth We develop ourselves as people, and we work collaboratively between individuals, departments, locations and levels.Job Purpose Build and grow modern trade sales by ensuring targets for the respective branch are hit on a regular basis.  Provide excellent service to the customers by always attending to their needs and being proactive to find solutions to any problem encountered.  Grow range and shelf presence in the respective store and build strong relationships at the store level with branch salespeople, supervisors, and managers to ensure a positive & motivating work environment geared to growing sales and hitting targets. Roles and responsibilities Achieve sales targets set by management for the specific branch/branches assigned to you. Discipline required to report on time and ensure communicated working hours are adhered to. Follow up on behalf of the customer to get updates on their products that have come back for repair be the link between the end consumer and Hotpoint in such cases escalate any issues not sorted within 5 days. Ensure allfast movers within each category are in stock (on the shelf) and well displayed – if not in stock, they should be on a pending LPO. Adherence to store planograms/clusters/assortments. Follow up for fast delivery for any pending orders. Ensure all promotions and price changes are implemented on time—proof of shelf prices should be available on the day the promotion starts. Always have an updated codes list—request for corrections if any mistakes are noticed. Shelf share and visibility – ensure strong representation on the ground with prime displays secured. Monitor competition and ensure market intelligence is relayed on a weekly basis. Range expansion – ensure the respective branch increases the variety– of brands and range to ensure we stay ahead of the competition and are competitive in all segments. Train the store salespeople to ensure all staff in the respective store are up to datewith the latestproduct knowledge. Provide exemplary service to all customers in order to ensure customer satisfaction during and after the sale process. Ensure excellent product knowledge for the entire range of Hotpoint products. Up-to-date market and competitor information. Carry out all the work in a professional and ethical manner and within company policy. Promptly deal with all customer complaints. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the superior. Qualification A diploma in a business-related course. Experience Minimum of 1 year in a sales/marketing field; the candidate should have held a sales position selling to end consumers in dedicated stores.
