The role involves working closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and end users to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into functional system solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in business process transformation, requirements documentation, user experience optimization, and solution validation throughout the project lifecycle. Scope of Work: Business Analysis and Requirements Management: Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder consultations. Analyze business processes, operational workflows, and functional requirements. Develop business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and process flows. Design and document optimized business processes and workflows. Coordinate system gap analysis and business process re-engineering activities. Support functional system configuration and validation. Develop functional specifications and acceptance criteria. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and requirements validation. User Experience and Process Optimization: Support user interface design and user experience optimization. Develop workflow diagrams, process maps, and functional models. Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency improvements. Ensure solutions align with organizational and client operational objectives. Coordinate stakeholder feedback and change management activities. Support training, user onboarding, and system adoption initiatives. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare business analysis reports and stakeholder presentations. Maintain requirements traceability matrices and project documentation. Support project governance and reporting processes. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent business analysis certification is an added advantage. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in business analysis and process improvement. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Lead Business Analyst on tax administration or enterprise systems projects. Experience in user interface design and workflow/process optimization. Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with requirements management tools and business process modeling. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of Somali language or ability to coordinate translation services is mandatory.
