The role involves developing data models, analytics frameworks, dashboards, and risk algorithms to support operational intelligence, compliance monitoring, and strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming organizational data into actionable insights while ensuring data quality, governance, and analytical accuracy. Scope of Work: Data Analytics and Reporting: Design and implement enterprise data analytics frameworks and reporting solutions. Develop risk models, algorithms, and analytical dashboards. Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and operational insights. Support predictive analytics and statistical modeling initiatives. Design data visualization and business intelligence dashboards. Ensure data integrity, quality assurance, and consistency across systems. Support integration of analytics tools with enterprise platforms and databases. Business Intelligence and Decision Support: Develop operational, executive, and compliance reports. Support tax administration analytics and revenue intelligence initiatives. Conduct regression analysis, forecasting, and statistical modeling. Identify opportunities for process optimization using data-driven insights. Collaborate with technical and business teams to define analytical requirements. Support user training and adoption of analytics tools and dashboards. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards. Maintain audit trails and analytical documentation. Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities. Perform any other duties assigned from time to time. Academic and Professional Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university. Relevant postgraduate qualifications in data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, taxation, or public financial management will be an added advantage. Internationally recognized professional certifications in data analytics, data science, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, or related disciplines will be considered an added advantage. Professional Experience Minimum of five (5) years’ demonstrated experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or predictive modelling within large-scale ICT systems, preferably in government revenue, taxation, customs, financial services, or public sector environments. Proven experience in developing, testing, and implementing statistical models, regression analysis, predictive analytics, and risk-scoring algorithms to support compliance, fraud detection, audit selection, revenue forecasting, and decision-making processes. Hands-on experience using modern data analytics and visualization tools included within the bidder’s proposed Integrated Tax Administration System (ITAS) solution or equivalent enterprise analytics platforms. Demonstrated ability to analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources and produce actionable insights, dashboards, reports, and automated analytical outputs for management and operational use. Experience in data quality management, data governance, and integration of analytics within enterprise systems will be an added advantage. Experience working on tax administration, revenue authority modernization, e-government, or digital transformation projects will be highly desirable.
