Outspan Hospital started operations with the establishment of an Out Patient Department on August 7, 2001. A month later, the In Patient Department was opened with a capacity of 21 beds.Admission Criteria Applicants should have worked in the capacity of a Medical Officer in a surgical department for at least 2 years. Must have a valid practicing license from KMPDC;- Should have a strong interest in the field of General Surgery; Residents working at Outspan Teaching and Referral Hospital will have an added advantage. Applicants should be able to demonstrate capacity to sponsor themselves for this program.
