Hydrologists are responsible for obtaining hydro-meteorological data/information to advice the Company on future hydro-generation thus ensuring adequate resource assessment for long term generation capacity expansion.** Qualifications**

Bachelors degree in Meteorology/Natural or Water Resources Management or equivalent from a recognized institution

Must be Prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya

Review and present proposals for new ideas in energy planning studies for marketing.

Prepare short and medium term Energy and Power output capability plans under various forecasts and scenarios of hydrology.

Obtain hydro-meteorological data/information to advice the Company on future hydro-generation.

Monitor energy and power output projections/budgets.

Oversee collection, storage, and analysis of energy resource.

Develop and regularly update the Least Cost Power Development Plan and other National Energy Masterplans, policies and strategies.

Monitor the Company's interconnected energy production system and the storage levels performance in relation to the Energy Budget projection.
