Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Security Management, or related field.

12+ years of progressive EHSS experience in industrial manufacturing.

Multi-country management experience required.

Professional certifications preferred (NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, CSP, CPP for security, etc.).

Strong experience in heavy industrial environments.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Global EHSS Strategy & Governance**

Develop and deploy a unified global EHSS strategy aligned with BURN’s objectives.
-
Establish standardized EHSS policies, SOPs, procedures, and reporting frameworks across all countries.
-
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, local regulatory standards, and relevant environmental, safety, and security best practices.
-
Act as the corporate authority on environmental, occupational health, safety, and security matters.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management****

Ensure compliance with global and local occupational safety, environmental, and industrial regulations across all sites.

Lead global risk assessments for high-risk operations including.

Oversee environmental permits, waste management, emissions monitoring, and hazardous material compliance.

Develop fleet safety standards, including driver training and accident investigation.

Safety Culture & Behavioral Leadership****

Drive a zero-harm culture globally.

Develop behavioral safety programs and accountability frameworks.
-
Standardize safety training, induction programs, and toolbox talks across all sites.

Promote proactive hazard reporting and near-miss tracking.

Incident Management & Investigation****

Establish global standards for incident reporting and escalation.

Lead investigations into serious incidents and high-potential events.

Ensure structured root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Develop and monitor related KPIs.

Global Security Management****
-
The Global Head of EHSS is responsible for establishing and overseeing a comprehensive global security framework to safeguard people, assets, facilities, and supply chains.
-
Develop and standardize physical security, perimeter protection, CCTV systems, access control systems, visitor management, and guard force management policies across all sites.
-
Implement controls to prevent theft, and asset loss.
-
Oversee investigation and lead response of internal and external security incidents.
-
Develop warehouses dispatch and receiving security protocols.
-
Implement container sealing, yard control, and logistics risk mitigation processes in collaboration with the respective departments.

Monitor high-risk transport routes, regions, and events, and provide Security Assessment.

Conduct country-specific security risk assessments, and security audits.
-
Establish site emergency response coordination (fire, unrest, natural disasters, security breaches).

Assess, onboard, audit, and oversee security service providers across all regions.

Standardize guard training requirements and SLAs.
- Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Management****

Ensure drills are conducted regularly.

Coordinate corporate response to critical incidents.
- Leadership & Global Team Management**

Lead regional EHSS managers and security leads.

Drive alignment between Operations, HR, Facilities, and Risk teams.

Provide executive-level EHSS reporting to leadership and board.
