Tezza has now become the #1 QA and Software Testing Company in East Africa providing services to companies within the Banking, Insurance, Healthcare and Telecommunication market verticals.ROLE SPECIFICATION Looking for experienced Architects or Building Technicians to implement designs in all parts of Africa. Reporting to: The Head of Country & Business Development (HCBD) on administrative matters. The Head of Architecture (HOA) in Lagos on technical and aesthetic matters. You will be expected to provide a full design, supervisory and implementation service. The ability to problem solve, use your own judgement, think creatively and work calmly under pressure are all essential skills to the role. Participation in the monthly online Command Centre meetings and policy formation in line with the Company Business Model is expected. Skills: Display a high capacity for multitasking. Maintain an intense level of professionalism while handling confidential information. Ability to communicate clearly and frequently. Have previous success in an efficient office setting. Effectively use all functions of Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of other drafting or rendering software is an advantage. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Building Construction. Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design, project management and construction. Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects concurrently. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications. PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a Manager – Architecture (MA) you will be responsible for managing all aspects of company design and build projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within the scope of the, drawings and budget. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional interior spaces that meet client specifications and quality standards. Your duties and responsibilities require you to: Manage and oversee all phases of the design, build and fit-out of projects from initiation to completion. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project specifications align with their vision. Develop and monitor detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these schedules and financial limitations. Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, external consultants and internal teams to maintain project workflow and timelines. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality of work, and address any issues that arise promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate project updates to all stakeholders, maintaining transparency and managing expectations effectively. Identify and mitigate project risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
