Key Responsibilities

Key Activities / Performance Measures

 People Management

Staff scheduling:

Ensuring there is sufficient coverage on the shop floor by proper staff planning.

Weekly staff schedule update and monitoring of the schedule's execution

Proper handling of company property (i.e. ensure that assets are in proper condition, with the option of immediate reporting to the manager

Product communication :

Ensure proper hygiene of the products and constant communication with the staff on current issues.

Ensuring a 100% product description and pricing i.e.updated product shelf labels.

Timely communication of all offers, price changes and any other needed communications.

Process Management:

Manage all applicable shop floor processes and ensure compliance e.g. Order creation and follow up with direct suppliers and the warehouse.

100% compliance to defined processes and procedures

Close monitoring of stocks ordering and movement.

Timely ordering of products as per defined timeframes to ensure product availability

Store maintenance:

Ensure proper product stocking, product rotation, expiries tracking and general store cleanliness

Ensure 100% of item availability in the outlet

Maintaining shrinkage to 1% and below

Price comparisons:

Ensure product price comparisons are done and communicated to the branch manager, procurement team  and pricing team for the next course of action.

Ensure saleable, dent free, expiry date as per requirement of the public health act

100% quality saleable products in the branch

Customer Service Delivery:

Ensure constant coverage in the designated shop floor for continuous customers assistance and resolution of customer complains

Customer complaints resolution:

Ensure any customer related issues are well managed and resolved to ensure enhanced customer satisfaction.

Excellent customer service interaction and delivery at each customer contact. This should include greeting, smiling and general soliciting for feedback from the customers on their shopping experience.

Facilitate monthly/bi-monthly customer feedback on the shop floor

Reduction in recurring customer service issues

Stewardship:

Ensure good grooming of all staffs and presentation at all times while on the shop floor.

Be well groomed at all times as per company dress code policy

 

Minimum Educational/Professional Qualifications required + Minimum Years of work experience required + Type of Experience Required

· Diploma in any business-related course

· Microsoft Office skills

· Well-developed leadership and management skills

· Good communication and interpersonal skill

· Problem-solving skills

· Ability to motivate staff and ensure that they remain focused on delivering branch objectives

· Atleast 3 years experience in  Retail business operations
