Duties and Responsiblities Generate new business in line with agreed individual targets. Identify, target, and build relationships with prospective clients to drive revenue growth. Develop and maintain a credible pipeline of prospective clients and growth strategies that achieve weekly, monthly, and annual targets. Clearly articulate value propositions to prospective clients. Identify, target, and penetrate niche markets while creating awareness of Medical Insurance and other Retail & SME insurance products. Prepare competitive proposals, quotations, presentations, and RFQs for prospective clients Develop business growth strategies to support revenue generation and portfolio expansion. Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with customers to support retention and cross-selling opportunities. Create targeted sales and marketing plans, including activations within existing corporate clients, to drive retail business growth. Understand client needs and tailor insurance solutions to effectively address them. Participate in product development and creation of marketing collateral to support targeted value propositions. Develop and implement marketing campaign calendars in liaison with cross-functional marketing teams. Liaise with medical underwriters, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quotations and client solutions. Provide weekly and monthly production, pipeline, and conversion reports including analysis of won and lost business opportunities. Key Result Areas 100% achievement of individual new Medical Insurance business targets for Retail & SME. Growth of Medical Insurance business through cross-selling and support of other Retail & SME product lines. Increased pipeline conversion ratio through effective follow-up and business development initiatives. Timely preparation and submission of competitive quotations, proposals, and RFQs within agreed turnaround times. Key Competencies Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively. Knowledge And Skills Required At least 3 years of experience in insurance sales or business development. Knowledge and experience in Medical Insurance sales will be an added advantage. Strong organizational, analytical, and research skills. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment. Healthy knowledge of IT solutions and systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Professional and Academic Qualifications A Business related degree from a recognized university. Diploma in insurance (AIIK or ACII).
