Position: Manager – Electrical Engineering

Location: Hyderabad

Reporting to: Head – Electrical Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Design & Execution Develop and manage project designs, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and manage engineering consultants; review and approve designs and documentation. Review equipment test reports and provide technical guidance. Represent the engineering team in project meetings and presentations.

Technical Studies & Compliance

Conduct and coordinate load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and power system studies for wind farms. Ensure compliance with Grid Codes, IEC, IEEE, CEA, and utility regulations. Drive technical excellence, innovation, and process improvements. Costing & Feasibility Support cost estimation, financial modelling, and feasibility analysis for wind energy projects.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: B.E. / M.E. in Electrical Engineering Experience: 8–10 years in wind farm electrical design, substations, and EHV transmission lines (up to 400 kV).

Knowledge

Expertise in HV/MV/EHV electrical systems for wind projects. Proficiency in ETAP, PSCAD, and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, CEA, and utility standards. In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance.

Skills

Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and presentation skills. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage consultants.
