 This is a high-execution, individual contributor role responsible for ensuring consistent brand presence across digital platforms, producing content at a steady cadence, and serving as the internal point of contact with our external marketing agency. The Marketing Coordinator thrives in a collaborative environment and take pride in ensuring marketing activities are executed smoothly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaign Execution

Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channelsSchedule and publish marketing content including email campaigns, social media posts, and website updatesAssist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials and marketing communicationsTrack campaign timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed on scheduleCoordinate marketing initiatives for tradeshows, promotions, launches, or customer engagement activities

 

Content & Brand Support

Own and maintain the company's content calendar across social media, website, email, and promotional campaigns Produce frequent, high-quality LinkedIn posts and short-form content that reflects Medbill's brand voice Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials and platforms Design and update branded slide decks, one-pagers, and internal marketing materials Organize and maintain marketing assets such as graphics, templates, and digital files Coordinate monthly content planning sessions with internal teams

 

Digital Marketing Operations

Manage day-to-day updates for social media channels and marketing platformsSupport website updates, landing page content, and digital campaignsMonitor engagement metrics and report on performance of marketing activitiesAssist with CRM updates, lead tracking, and marketing database management

 

Administrative & Operational Support

Maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules, and content timelinesOrganize and track marketing requests from internal teamsAssist with documentation of marketing processes and workflowsCoordinate vendor relationships related to marketing services or materials

 

Agency Accountability

Serve as the internal point of contact with Medbill’s internal marketing agency.Review monthly blog and SEO deliverables for quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.Track agency timelines and flag any missed deadlines or off-brand content to leadership.Support coordination of monthly content planning with the agency.

 

Key Competencies

Strong and professional verbal and written English communication skillsExcellent organizational and project coordination abilitiesHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to follow processes and execute marketing initiatives consistentlyComfortable using AI tools (such as Claude) to accelerate content production. Creative thinking with a practical, solutions-oriented approach Proficiency with common marketing tools (social media platforms, email marketing tools, CRM systems, and basic design/editing tools)

 

Qualifications

  • English fluency 2-4 years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or digital marketingExperience managing social media accounts or marketing campaignsExperience with content design tools (Canva , Adobe Express, or similar design platforms) Familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or similar toolsBasic graphic design or content creation experience is a plus

Pay: Ksh 600/hour
