Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Head of Sales (East Africa) at Valetax. The role involves designing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the client base, managing customer accounts, and overseeing the sales team to meet performance targets. Responsibilities include building and maintaining strong client relationships, analyzing market trends, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth. The Head of Sales will also provide leadership to the regional sales team and align sales strategies with the organization's long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in forex/CFD brokerage sales, business development, account management, or financial markets.

• Proven experience managing sales teams within financial services or brokerage environments.

• Strong understanding of:

Forex & CFD markets Client retention strategies Trading platforms and brokerage operations

Experience operating across multiple African markets is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated track record of achieving commercial and revenue growth targets. • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills. • High level of professionalism, discipline, and accountability. •Ability to build and manage high-performance regional sales teams. • Strong analytical, reporting, and sales planning capabilities. • Familiarity with CRM systems, MT4/MT5, and sales reporting tools. • Must be a fit and proper person with high standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct. • Must have no history of financial misconduct, fraud, regulatory sanctions, or criminal activity related to financial services. • Membership in a recognized professional body is an added advantage, including but not limited to:

  • CFA Institute
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
  • Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya
  • Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment
  • Law Society

• Professional certifications in financial markets, investments, compliance, leadership, or risk management will be considered an added advantage. •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Law, or a related field is preferred. •Master’s degree or advanced professional qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
