Information Technology contract Nairobi County, Kenya Posted 2 hours ago

About Us

We are Shujaaz Inc, a youth-powered behaviour change social enterprise based in Nairobi, Kenya. We believe this generation of young people can transform our global society for the better – that’s why we work to break down barriers so that young people can take control of their futures.

Through continuous listening, co-creation, storytelling & peer activation, Shujaaz has become one of Kenya’s biggest and most trusted youth communities, reaching over 80% of 5-24-year-olds across Kenya. We connect this community with the knowledge, self-belief, inspiration and opportunities they need to create the future they want – and the support to make it happen.

About the Role

We know that Shujaaz Inc has the potential to drive even deeper population-level impact for young people by building on, strengthening, and deepening how we use data & insights to ensure that the voices of young people are heard, and powerful new stories are told. We are therefore looking for a strong research and learning professional who can help strengthen how evidence, insight, and learning inform organisational decision-making. We are looking for someone who can connect data, research, audience insight, and lived experience into practical recommendations that support impactful programmes, partnerships and organisational learning. The Senior Manager, Knowledge & Learning will support Shujaaz Inc’s learning agenda by working closely with our Programmes, Media, Communications, and Business Development teams to ensure evidence and learning are embedded into decision-making across the organisation. The role will support the translation of research and audience insight into actionable learning, donor narratives, programme improvement, and external knowledge-sharing outputs. The successful candidate will also contribute to strengthening how Shujaaz Inc captures, synthesises, and communicates learning internally and externally.

Technical Expertise & Experience

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL), Economics, Development Studies, or a related field. · Professional training or demonstrated experience in applied research, strategic learning, evaluation, or evidence-informed programme design will be an added advantage.
