Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Domestic Staff position located in Nairobi. The Domestic Staff member will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organizational order in the institute's facilities. Daily tasks include cleaning, organizing common areas, managing skills lab laundry, handling supplies, preparing staff meals and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. Additional responsibilities may include providing support to staff and guests according to operational needs.

Qualifications

Proficiency in cleaning and organizing tasks, including the use of cleaning tools and materials. Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with staff and guests. Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleanliness and hygiene protocols. Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. Previous experience in a similar role and understanding of hospitality or institutional housekeeping is an advantage. Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in a professional environment.
