Trans Nzoia County is among the 47 counties established by the Kenya Constitution under article 6(1) and specified in the First Schedule. Article 176 (1) establishes a county government for each county consisting of the county assembly and the county executive. The Trans Nzoia county government was operationalized in March 2013 after the country’s general election with H.E Hon. Patrick Simiyu Khaemba as the first popularly elected Governor.Job Description and Job Specification     Kshs. 34,420 x 1,300 – 35,720 x 1,380 – 37,100 x 1,390 – 38,490 x 1,460 – 39,950 x 1,470 -41,420 x 1,470 – 42,890 x 1,520 – 44,410 x 1,710 – 46,120 p.m. Duties and Responsibilities: This will be the entry and training grade into this cadre. An Officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. County Headquarters: Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-carrying out general administrative duties; coordinating the enforcement of county laws; ensuring security of county government property, assets, facilities and inventory; facilitating maintenance of infrastructure and facilities; overseeing transport management; planning and coordinating office accommodation; overseeing development and updating of office equipment and furniture; overseeing facilitation of meetings, conferences and other special events; supervising general maintenance of buildings and furniture Field Administration: The officer will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail; establishing networks and linkages with the relevant stakeholders; handling public concerns and issues; monitoring and evaluating community projects; facilitating mobilization of resources at the local level; facilitating citizen participation in development activities; overseeing occupational health and safety issues; promoting ethics and principles of good governance; analyzing and compiling data on developmental activities; liaising with relevant stakeholders in organizing citizen public participation forums. Requirements: For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social Science from a recognized institution; Certificate in computer applications;
