Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, reconciliations, tax management, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong experience handling KRA compliance, VAT returns, PAYE, statutory deductions, audits, and overall financial controls. The role also requires the ability to supervise and train junior accounting staff while ensuring efficiency within the finance department.

Qualifications & Requirements • 5+ years of accounting experience in a similar role • Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, or related ERP/accounting software • Solid understanding of KRA regulations, tax compliance, PAYE, VAT, and statutory filings • Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and audit preparation • Ability to supervise and mentor junior accountants • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills • High level of integrity and attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • CPA(K) qualification is an added advantage Location: Nairobi, Kenya Interested candidates should send their CV to: abdullahiibra200@gmail.com
