Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities across Zuheri Sports. This role will lead and coordinate operational planning, process optimization, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery of products and services. The Director of Operations will manage cross-functional teams, establish performance metrics, and implement standard operating procedures to drive consistency and quality. They will monitor budgets, manage vendor and partner relationships, and ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves analyzing operational data, identifying improvement opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with senior leadership to meet organizational goals. Qualifications Strong Operations Management experience, including process improvement, workflow optimization, and implementation of standard operating procedures. Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, develop insights, create reports, and support data-informed decision-making. Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leadership, coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Proficiency in Budgeting, financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation to support operational efficiency. Customer Service orientation with a focus on service quality, responsiveness, and building long-term stakeholder relationships. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage. Proven experience in a senior operations role, preferably within sports, retail, or related industries. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Nairobi.
