Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
● Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards, and guest preferences.
● Mix cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
● Ensure proper pouring, garnishing, and presentation of all drinks before service.
● Recommend beverages, cocktails, wines, and food pairings to guests based on preferences and menu knowledge.
● Open and serve wines and champagne using proper service etiquette and standards.
● Create memorable guest experiences through engaging, professional, and personalized service.
● Upsell premium beverages and signature cocktails to maximize revenue opportunities.
● Maintain in-depth knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, preparation techniques, and promotions.
Guest Experience & Customer Service
● Welcome guests warmly and establish a professional yet friendly rapport with customers.
● Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, responsive, and discreet service.
● Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
● Maintain exceptional hospitality standards aligned with luxury dining and hospitality expectations.
● Ensure guests receive prompt and accurate service even during high-volume periods.
● Maintain a polished, professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
Bar Operations
● Set up the bar before service and ensure readiness of all stations, tools, equipment, and supplies.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, counters, shelves, refrigerators, and storage spaces.
● Ensure adequate stock levels of beverages, garnishes, ice, glassware, mixers, and bar supplies.
● Conduct daily stock checks and report shortages, breakages, or discrepancies.
● Monitor inventory usage and minimize wastage, spillage, and pilferage.
● Support stock ordering and receiving processes when required.
● Ensure proper storage and rotation of stock according to hygiene and safety standards.
● Operate bar equipment such as blenders, coffee machines, cocktail shakers, POS systems, and dispensers safely and efficiently.
Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
● Adhere to food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
● Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, age verification requirements, and responsible drinking practices.
● Maintain high cleanliness standards for glassware, utensils, and beverage preparation areas.
● Follow workplace health and safety procedures and report hazards or incidents promptly.
● Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed accurately and efficiently.
● Handle cash, receipts, and transactions responsibly while maintaining accountability standards.
Team Collaboration
● Work closely with waitstaff, kitchen teams, supervisors, and management to ensure smooth operations.
● Assist in banquet, event, and private function beverage service when required.
● Support fellow team members during busy service periods.
● Participate in training sessions, beverage tastings, and service improvement initiatives.
● Contribute ideas for cocktail development, menu innovation, and guest engagement strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements
● Diploma or Certificate in Food & Beverage, Hospitality Management, Bartending, or related field.
● Professional bartending certification is an added advantage.
● Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Bartender in a reputable restaurant, lounge, hotel, or luxury hospitality establishment.
● Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
● Experience working in high-end hospitality or fine dining environments is highly preferred.
● Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle diverse clientele professionally.
● Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
