We examine issues of concern in depth and we have specialized in training which looks at the demand for potential success of Government, Local Government, Religious Bodies, Private Organizations, NGO’s, Voluntary Organizations and Community Organizations as well as the Private Sector.Role Objective Our client, a reputable and fast-growing firm operating within the design and construction sector, is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Architect to join their team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will take a leading role in delivering architectural projects from initial concept development through to final completion, ensuring alignment between design intent, functionality, and construction execution. The role reports directly to the Managing Director. Core Duties and Responsibilities Lead the development of architectural concepts and manage projects from design stage to completion.  Translate client requirements into clear, functional, and innovative design solutions.  Prepare detailed architectural drawings, technical documentation, and construction sets including plans, sections, and specifications.  Develop 3D visualizations, spatial layouts, and presentation materials such as mood boards to communicate design concepts.  Ensure all designs align with approved budgets, project timelines, and client expectations.  Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction works reflect approved design documentation.  Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, mockups, and technical submissions.  Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to resolve technical challenges and ensure design integration.  Ensure full compliance with building regulations, zoning laws, safety standards, and internal quality requirements.  Oversee interior spatial planning, including lighting, finishes, furniture layouts, and material selection.  Curate material palettes and finishes that reflect the overall architectural concept and design vision.  Collaborate closely with interior designers, contractors, and project managers to maintain design consistency.  Monitor construction progress and resolve design-related issues promptly to avoid delays.  Manage design revisions and change requests while preserving project integrity and quality standards.  Optimize project costs through efficient material selection and value-driven design solutions.  Support project close-out activities including as-built documentation and defect resolution.  Ensure final project delivery meets both client expectations and design excellence standards. Job Specifications and Qualifications Bachelor degree in Architecture or related field. At least 4 years of relevant experience in architecture & interior design projects, design-build environments. Architectural license/Professional membership will be an added advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, ArchiCAD.3D rendering tools.MS Office & project management tools. Knowledge of building codes, design standards and regulatory compliance.
