Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager - Pensions (Corporate/Retail) based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The role involves leading a team in identifying business opportunities in the pensions segment, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing strategies to drive growth in both corporate and retail pensions markets. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering presentations, conducting thorough market research, analyzing trends, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to meet clients' needs and align with the company’s goals. Qualifications Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Relationship Management in the pensions or financial services industry Strong skills in Market Research, Data Analysis, and Strategic Planning Excellent Communication, Presentation, and Negotiation skills Understanding of Pensions Administration, Financial Products, and Regulatory Compliance Proficiency in Networking and Building Client Relationships Ability to work independently and meet performance goals Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related fields (Master’s degree is a plus) Experience in the African financial services landscape or pensions sector is an advantage
